The last several winters in MI have seen much less snow, at least in Kalamazoo. About 8 or 9 years ago we had a really snowy winter. I remember it well because the weight of the snow cracked the ABS top on my Coleman Popup. I repaired it myself and it looked like new again, but that is a job I never want to repeat.

We have about 14” on the ground now. We love it. It’s beautiful. But if we were in a populated area it wouldn’t be so pretty. Makes it bright even on a cloudy day.

Had snow earlier, it melted. Had snow again and again and it melted too so unless we get snow before Christmas, it will be a brown Christmas here & that has happened before.
Cloudy or sunny winter days, makes no difference to me.

We just got back from our last camping trip for this winter. It was great for the first two days, but the last day was miserably cold and windy. But winters here are short, so we hope to have our repairs made by April when the camping is ideal.

How many of you use the anti-freeze stuff and how do you get it into the lines if your trailer/rv doesn't have a pump for it? Do you just pour it into the fresh water tank and then use the pump to distribute it?

My trailer came with a built in 'bypass kit' from the factory .. located by the water pump.
If yours doesn't have one, they are easy to install. You don't want to pour RV antifreeze into the fresh water tank ........ it will take gallons and gallons to do that and then pump thru the water system.
Bypass kits are available for most any RV parts supplier for self installation or your RV service department will happily install one for you.

What kind of bypass are you referring to? I have valves by the water heater, which is what I find when I search for "RV bypass kit"
but I am referring more to something like this:

I have the XT-200. Very little accessible from the outside. I ordered that kit, bought the anti-freeze stuff from Walmart (only $2.58/gal, bought all 4 gallons they had), and have a space heater in the trailer to warm it up so I can work comfortably once the kit gets here. Water heater is already empty and the bypass valves closed since I just did the cleaning maintenance this past weekend.
If I remember I will take pics of the process.

There's a cold wave country wide it seems.
I'll probably set a small heater in our little dude this coming week. Our FunFinder's plugged in down by the garage so it'll be no big deal. The water lines and tank drains are full of antifreeze and the heater is drained. I just don't like it to get that cold so I'll set it to come on about 35F or 40F.
Burrrr.....

APD, it should not hurt your little guy if it gets cold, as long as you used antifreeze in the pumping. Most of us in the northern states tuck them in for the winter under shelter with no heat until April.

I know but i just don't like it to get that cold in there. I've had a small electric heater in the FF for the two weeks or so, set on about 40F, and the coldest it's gotten was 33F. (via my remote temp sensor)
On ours I disconnect the pump from the fresh water tank and drop the line into the antifreeze jug(s).
Bypass the heater and start the pump.
Open all the faucets and the WC til I get pink and the P-traps have antifreeze in them.
Then drain and flush the heater and FW tank. (We don't use the FW tank anyway.)
I make sure the grey and black tanks are empty first (of course) and drain just a little of the pink stuff thru the valves so they will have antifreeze on the slides.
