Ditto. My roof A/C has the setting on the controls for the heater but no strip. They are 1500 Watt Strips.

You will be much better off with a small ceramic type heater.

I did not think the power in a 7 way plug in a tow vehicle would have enough power, or wire size, to power an electric tongue jack. I think mine is 14 AWG or smaller.

Nope. There is nothing I can do about it. The fan on the furnace draws a ton of power. If I want to keep warm at night I have to run the furnace. The most I have gone is two days with out recharging...

I have and do camp in the winter without hook ups. I just keep the propane heater and water heater running. Never had an issue. My camper has the fresh water tank under the bed not under the trailer....

As does mine. I use it all the time because I dry cam a lot. However it is really noisy. so if i have electricity I use a quiet electric heater.
