For the last couple of years we have owned a small popup that we could tow with my Jeep Wrangler. After our Fathers day camping trip my wife and I started talking about needing a bigger camper. When we bought our Taos our boys were 4 and 6 they are now two years older and a lot bigger and our 8' pup was getting really tight. I also was getting lots of complaints every time they had to climb the hill at the campground to go to the bathroom. So last we put a deposit on a 2008 Fun Finder X240. It has everything we were looking for, it is not too big, has a bathroom, a queen bed for us, bunks for the boys and plenty of storage. Then we realized we should probably buy a vehicle that can actually tow it home because I don't think my Wrangler or her minivan would do a very good job, so yesterday we traded her minivan for a Chevy Avalanche 2500..
Some pics of our new to us Fun Finder, we will pick it up this weekend.
Your new Fun Finder looks great. I really like the white cabinetry. The one we are getting (WSD) will have white cabinets and we are getting it Saturday. FFs were about the only manufacturer that offered the white. I also noticed the canoe on top of your Jeep. We are looking at getting a 2-person inflatable kayak to take on the road with us so we can still get out on the water and paddle around. Some of them can be quite pricey huh?
I really like the white. We got lucky with the canoe, my wife was talking to my aunt telling her how we were thinking of getting one, she said theirs was just taking up space in their shed and we could have it. Father's Day weekend the boys and I took a 4 hour canoe ride down the Brandywine River in SE PA.

Picked up our new camper this weekend. We headed straight to the Hagerstown MD KOA from the dealership for the night. We are really enjoying the extra space.
