Default Hello from Ohio

Hello all and am glad to find this forum. We are not new to camping, but are new to the Fun Finder X TT. The GF and I started out with a PUP that we spent countless hours remodeling and enjoying. We then moved to a 28 ft Nomad North Trail Lite, which was a good TT. The layout, however, lacked in the sofa area. Only one person could really be comfy while watching television. The other was crammed against the sink cabinet. It was also a bit weighty for us as we are starting to travel out of state on Thanksgiving week. Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg this year.
So we found a 2011 210 WBS and traded the Nomad in. We could have bought a new Coleman, Springdale or other similar unit. Most of these looked boring and mostly the same. We saw the Fun Finder and were immediately in love with her. The white cabinets and the layout are great. And the GF made sure to point out that the front decals have pink in them, I can live with that.
She is 1200-1300 lbs lighter than the Nomad as well as being 6 ft shorter. I like that as my truck "should" have no issues towing even through the mountains. TV is a 2006 Silverado Vortec Max, HO 6.0 L, 4L70E and a 4.10:1 9 inch 14 bolt rear. Also if using in the winter my 4x4 5.3 should be ok if local.
Thanks for allowing me to be so long winded and I am sure I will make good use of this site as I already have curiosities and questions.

Happy camping to all.

That truck is a 3/4 ton, isn’t it? You’ll have no problem towing that trailer. I tow the same model (different year) with a 1/2 ton with no issues.

No it is a 1500, more like the old heavy halfs, capacity is the same as the 1500 HD without the 8 lug axles.

I didn’t realize Chevy put a 6.0L in a 1500. It should easily pull your trailer though.
