Default Hello from Wisconsin

Hello to all of the FFOC members. I recently purchased a 2007 Shadow Cruiser X 210 (believe it or not, at a garage sale ). I pretty excited to come across this forum as I have found owner's forums to be very useful as far as learning about a product beyond what's in the owner's manual. I'm not new to camping. I tent camped as a youth and during the early years of my marriage. After that, we had a Coleman pop up camper and used it until our girls got out of high school. A year of "camping" in the mountains of Bosnia and a stint "under canvas" in Iraq with the U.S. Army, made my interest in camping dwindle. Last Summer tho we took our granddaughter on a trip to the East Coast using a rented travel trailer and I had my interest rekindled! We decided we had to get a camper. We limited our search to our immediate area but didn't have much luck finding what we wanted (and we had decided to wait for what we wanted). Well, the Shadow Cruiser was just what we wanted, so we bought it. We are very happy with it so far (but haven't taken it on the "shake-down cruise yet). I'll have to post a little note on how well our 1st trip went. I'm looking forward to being a member of this forum. RipVan
