Thats an out right lie. Are you just here to try and sell something.

Then why are probably over half of the posts in this forum people complaining about the QUALITY of their FF?

Default Quality

Did you read my earlier post ?

They try to make 25 units a day. If your deal does not prep the unit and finish the production then you been taken.

Some dealers charge over 1000.00 for this service.

Sell your Fun Finder.....if your not happy with it.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck its a DUCK.
So what you are saying is that sometimes these trailers arrive at the dealer unfinished!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's crazy. It would be like buying a new car and the dealer had to put on the tires, install the motor.
Keep up those kind of posts and the, For Sale, section will "bulge" with posts.

Looking at old Tom's profile, he was last on here in May 2011. He's probably selling paint at walmart by now.....

Your 189FBR very likely has 5/8" plywood for the floor.

If you poke around maybe under the bed or under the galley sink, find a place where wiring or plumbing goes thru the floor. You can likely get down there real close and do some looking thru the hole and measure how thick the floor is.

I agree with Tom. I've had 3 different people come up to us at campgrounds and tell us that their Fun Finder was the best trailer they've owned. I agree.

We have not actually taken our new 2008 189FRB out yet for a camping trip but so far, here are the things that I really like about it better than our 1982 Kit Companion...

1. Way bigger refrigerator....very nice
2. Electronic monitor of critical levels...water, sewer, battery etc.
3. Tandem axel. Kit was single.
4. It looks a lot nicer. Kit was getting pretty rough
5. Every thing about it is like new....we got a classic grandma rig that has not been used.
6. No leaks..... hopefully (we'll see.) The Kit was a constant battle to stay ahead.
7. Its a tiny bit lighter.

Don't like....
1. No counter space... the Kit had spacious counters.
2. Two burner stove with no oven
3. Way less storage space
4. Typical high profile AC unit.... the Kit had an AC that was only 6" tall and just as powerful.
5. No back bumper and no back receiver hitch.
6. Slightly smaller total holding tank capacity.... Kit had 50 gallons total, but no grey water...just one big tank.

Our longest trip in the Kit was 61 days.... I'm having a hard time imagining living that long in the FF on a trip. Over 8 years we traveled about 30,000 miles.

We really needed the upgrade.... I'm just whining a little, wishing this bigger camper had more space. Its a light case of buyer's remorse I guess but I'll get over it. Hearing comments like the above helps. We are probably going to change our RV habits from Long Trips to Short Trips and from Boondocking to Staying more often in camp grounds...we'll see.

People tell us our 139 is "cute" because it's small. I tell 'em it's a salesmans sample.

BTW, most people think the 139 stands for 14 feet (13'9"). They look again when I tell 'em it's 11'7".

Then again ~ maybe Tom is a true salesman looking to make another sale ??

Either way, never owning a different camper I have no way to make a comparison but have been well satisfied with mine for the price paid.

Regarding lack of counter space, one thing I did since I rarely use the stove top ( I mostly use the microwave ) is I bought the flip up/down burner top cover that Suburban makes for it. That space becomes "counter space" for me.

I have thought about making a flip up shelf to attach to the left end of the galley top to have a little more working space. In my floorplan though, that will place that right in the doorway going outside, so it would make it's use very limited.

Salesmans sample ! ha ! good one !

Yep, in funfinder speak, like on my trailer "189" means 18' 9".......but that is the overall length from the tip of the coupler tongue to the very back. So yes, the living box itself is something like 15' 9" or so.

'ol long gone Tom notwithstanding, I dunno about how great this trailer is compared to others, but I do know I love this thing, and have enjoyed every mile I've pulled it and every night I've spent in it.
