Default New 2010 X189FDS Owner

We have just finished our first season with a new X189FDS. It was a carry over in stock from the dealer in Ham Lake MN. We had seen the model in several RV shows in the past year or so. This model really stuck out as having what we needed. We have 3 older children who are transitioning away from home, but still will come out with us camping when they can. We can find ways to squeeze in if they make it, but if not it is like our own little cabin on wheels. Our travels have all gone very well. The Tundra is great for towing and we had the brake controller installed at the dealer. I see some great tips on this site. Finally figured out where the black water hose is stored! Still don't know where to put the water filter???, so could use advise.

Tom

Default same thing

We enjoyed our first season in our 2010 189FDS as well. If you lift the bed mattress and move the board under it to expose the water pump and water heater, there is a section of hose with a couple of fittings just about the length of the filter laying on top of the water heater. I believe you just undo the hose and put in the filter.
