Hello, all. Just entered the trailer lifestyle. Bought a 2007 189 X FD and tow with a 2014 Nissan Frontier SV. So far, towing is no problem. I'm fortunate enough to have a locally-owned RV dealership/servicer in my small, upstate NY town and had them just give me a full look-over, so I'm feeling confident that the trailer itself is good-to-go.

Took my 10 year old son camping, and all went well. He was pulling hard for a bunk system, so this model really was a hit!

If anyone has a link or PDF of User Manuals from this time, I'd sure appreciate being able to get a copy!

Also, looking for any/all tips and newbie lessons you can offer.

Thanks!

Welcome to the club! The bad news is that the manuals for each of the old trailers are almost unavailable -- the good news is that they were worthless anyways, with bland generic info.

The best news is that manuals for each of the subsystems (air conditioning, heater, fridge, etc) are all available online. Just find the model number on the unit, type it in, and you are all set.

Congratulations on your new RV! Your son may not yet realize what a lucky guy he is, but someday he will.

There's the brochure on this website. It has some good info on your particular model like weight, features, tank capacity, etc...

Thanks to you both, so far. I'll look into all the above.
