I just joined the forum, but have been reading for a while. I recently sold my motorhome and I am now getting serious about my travel trailer purchase. The Fun Finders are at the top of my list.

I was initially taken by the 210WBS, but have recently been eyeing the 230DS. The only issue I have with the 230DS is the fact that it has no outside storage. I show small dogs and typically have 4 or 5 with me at any time. The trailer would also be used for family vacations as well. I like the amount of open space this model affords. I can't deal with the "bowling alley" feeling that I get when I walk into so many other brands. The Fun Finder plans are very well done.

I understand that the queen bed in the 230DS does lift up for storage? Does anyone have dimensions of that available storage area? The other question I have is regarding the cabinetry on the left side as soon as you come in the door on the 230DS...for those that have this model - how easy would that be to remove? Is it just a matter of a few screws? I would need that cabinet to come out so that I can stack crates there. In addition, can anyone give the depth of the TV cabinet so that I can get an idea how far my crates would stick out into the living space?

Also, does anyone have photos of the bike rack or other 'storage' options they have come up with for this model? Any way to put a hitch on the back and put a hitch platform on the back for extra storage?
