Default Shadow Cruiser vs Fun Finder

Hello Everyone,

We are about to purchase a travel trailer and were looking at these two models since they both have a slideout option. Does anyone know the main differences between them? Also for anyone that has a slideout model, what do you think about it and is the slideout a big enhancement? We are looking at roughly 2008 models and up.

Thanks!

Starting off with the disclaimer that I've never actually seen a Shadow Cruiser model, I don't think there's a huge difference between them. The floor plans are pretty much identical. The Fun Finder I think is supposed to be a bit more 'upscale' which means it has some fancier trim items for whatever that's worth. But otherwise I think they're pretty much the same.

I would highly recommend the slide though. It gives you a lot more space inside and is well worth it my opinion.

Good luck with your search!

Shadow cruiser has a few minor difference, call hunter at allseasons rv, 231 739 5269, he can explain the differences, he sold us our funfinder and he is very knowledgeable.

Default FF vs Shadow Cruiser

I am just in the final stages of buying. I have been looking at both of these trailers. IMHO the FF is the better model as it has an aluminum frame VS a wooden on on the Shdow Cruiser.
Although both seem like nice trailers.

We looked at the FF and Shadow and went with the FF because of the nicer interior and the window in the front. Glad we made that choice even though it was more $$

I have a 189FDS, love the slide, it is the best ever, totally makes the trailer more livable for us. I have seen both trailers and prefered the Fun Finder, I go for mostly looks and I love the white interior, it makes the trailer so light and different. I decorated vintage cottage, next up is to redo the cushion covers to a summery stripe. My dinette and fridge are in the slide.

Default FF VS Shadow Cruiser

We agree that the FF white interior is just great. Thats one of the main issues that sold us.
The cherrywood etc looks elegant but the white makes the trailer seems so much bigger and with just the two of us and two small dogs I can't see cleaning the white places an issue.
