Default Soon 2B a new owner

Hello everyone,

Jim & Darlene here. We are in the process of hunting down a 139 or 160 to tow with our mini-van. It has a towing capacity of 3000#'s, so we want to limit our size to the 139 or 160. Any suggestions or recommendations? We have been towing pop-ups for several years now, and will be doing more traveling in the near future. We pack light so we don't plan on going over the 3000#'s GVW, unless you can think of things that we aren't. Any thoughts or comments are needed. Thanks.

Darlene

Greetings!

If you have pop-up camper experiance, I think you are well versed in trailer camping! I think once you find your Fun Finder, you will absolutley love it! The one thing I would suggest is staying with a newer unit, only because I read some older units had tracking/sway issues due to where the axle was placed, but that was remedied on newer models. Now I have no first hand knowlegde of this, and I have read tons of write ups praising all fun finders. The couple articles I read could have been just happenstance, but thought I would mention it.

Good luck and post up when you pick up your trailer!!

I agree, if you have been camping with a pop-up, you know what you are doing!! I noticed you are from the Milwaukee area. If I may ask, did you buy from a dealer, or private owner? The reason I ask is because I'm from Dubuque, Iowa, and Fun Finders are very rare in this area. It is difficult to find a newer used one. Thanks and Happy Camping!!!!
