Default The Fummins Family has arrived

We are a family of 7, preparing to embark on an epic journey. We are setting out to travel full time after labor day this year with our 4 sons and 1 daughter. We have a 2014 Shadow Cruiser 28QBS we are going to be towing behind our 2003 Ford Excursion that has been converted from the unreliable Powerstroke engine to a Dodge Cummins ISB engine. Looking to learn and share stories about not only our journey but our trailer and tow rig. Cant wait to learn from the long timers on this forum.

WOW!! Those kids are sure lucky -- they may not know that now, but someday they will. Do you have an itinerary yet?

Here is a suggestion to keep the kids busy and sane -- give them each an inexpensive point and shoot, and have them write a blog about your adventures. (You have probably already thought of this.) Blogging is very easy. And it can be written and prepared off line, so that you can upload it when you get decent internet service (which won't be all the time, as I am sure you know).

Good luck, and keep us posted!

Wow! You will never regret doing this. Well, there will be times you might, but those times will pass, just like if you never did it. It's best to do this while you are young, energetic and healthy. Many folks are earning money or actually supporting themselves via the Internet while doing what you do. Posting regularly to YouTube and gaining subscribers and sponsers does it. But the main thing is bonding as a family and discovering this beautiful diverse country of ours. So many are afraid to do it. But you already know all this probably. Keep us posted!!
