Default What was I thinking?

We've recently downsized from a larger and much heavier TT to, maybe, a Fun Finder x210. I say maybe as between the dealer closing because of the pandemic, service backlog, moon in perigee and the dog chewed up the contract, we are still waiting to finalize the deal. We negotiated a fair price for the 2011 but it needed work and that is what is delaying delivery - this week. I'm sure it will all work out and I'll soon be out there with toolbox and materials doing more updates. Another project trailer - what was I thinking!

To be honest, I'd never heard of Cruiser RV or the Fun Finder until February when I came across one for sale online. We liked the size and, in particular, the layout. It seemed "sensible". It had also seen a lot of use and not much maintenance, thus the lengthy list to the dealer after going over it. They might not be as happy as we are.

We are looking forward to our time with this trailer and learning from your experiences - and sharing some of ours.

"Project trailers" are the best -- fixing them is way more fun than doing household chores! (I'm glad no one can see my stick house these days -- they have to stay away because of the virus, thank goodness.)

Where in BC are you located? And when will the border reopen so I can visit you?

Update: we walked from the sale. While I'm OK with doing most work on a trailer, there are expensive items, like seized motors, that should lead to a discounted price, not substitution with an inferior alternative. We are back to scanning the market and may just sit this summer's camping season out.

Who knows, it may be another FF - except they are rare beasts in this part of the world.
