Default What was I thinking? FF189,+ 4yr old, 10 mth old, dog,

Oh and my wife. No particular order. I'm completely new to RVN. My wife and I wanted to start now while our kids still think we are cool and laugh at our jokes. Soon they'll be teenagers and know everything. We are both teachers and looking forward to spending a lot of time with our boys enjoying RVN. I'll be honest, I have a ton of questions. So please don't kick me out of this forum. :P

Dont' feel bad..I'm as green an RV'er as can be...you and I can ask all the embarrassing questions about black water (black???? yech!) etc...

I had to laugh about trying to have fun with them before they get to "that" age...I think the saddest day of my life was when my now 25-yr-old asked if I would mind walking a tad behind him into the football game....I think I cried for an hour! For 15 years you obsess about them day and night and then, pooof!- we're supposed to re-direct our thinking??/ Yeah, right!

Welcome!
Susan
who is sneaking a peak at this during her planning period...

I understand exactly what you are talking about. Our first RV trip took place when our youngest was a junior in high school and it was trying to say the least. Enjoy your kids no matter the age, I think RV'in is great for families!!! Here's to many wonder trips in your new trailer!!
