189FBS: Outside Shower Quick Connect Hose?

Hi everyone,

I'm a new owner of a used 2008 Fun Finder 189FBS and I have a question regarding the outside shower.

It didn't come with a hose when I bought it used, and it looks like it has a quick connect connection for the outside shower, and I was wondering where to order a replacement, or if you know the size and any info you can give regarding that connection.

Any help would be appreciated.

Congrats on the new trailer! Probably your best bet would be to contact CruiserRV's parts department. The number is posted on their website.

If CruiserRV isn't any help; try virtually any RV dealer/parts supplier. Those hoses are pretty standard (blue self-coiling with female garden hose fitting and male quick connect fitting) and most any RV place should be able to sell you one.

Thanks to you both for your suggestions. I actually went to a couple rv shops in town and they didn't carry that type of hose, or knew about that type of fitting (weird if you ask me).

You are certainly welcome It should work...all the CruiserRV's that I've owned/looked at/worked on used that self coiling blue hose with the male quick-connect and standard female hose fitting. I used mine for washing off the Lynx blocks, quick rinse of muddy shoes, etc.

Strange the RV shops didn't recognize or know what you were talking about. There are a couple of fittings (standard hose thread and the quick-connect are the two I've seen) and as soon as you said quick connect, they should have known... One thing I've learned over the years; even though they may sell them or work on them, most of those folks don't know anything about them

I'm very surprised as well they didn't know what it was. I mentioned if it was a standard quick connect connection, and they said that they don't like using the term "standard" because there's no such thing with campers.

Oh well, now that I know, I can purchase one online before the next adventure.

PS: I saw your list of mods to your Fun Finder. We're making mods to ours as well, but wow, what a list!
