Default 2012 189-fbs design flaws

Just spent our first night in our new trailer and overall... We loved it. However, right out of the gate we noticed a few design flaws that I was curious if anyone had a fix for.

- the storage doors on the bunk (under the bunk when using it as a bed) swing open with the weight of someone (even an average size 7 year old) coming very close to hitting us in the bunk below

- the so called storage area for the sewage hook up has part of the beam blocking it... So it isnt accessible. Do you just store this nasty hookup I'm the pass through area?

- the pass through storage area door latches (metal) come into contact with the window on the driver side... An accident waiting to happen if our kid tries to open this

- the license plate covers the rear stabilizer controls

- is it possible to find a pad lock to fit the uniquely sized and spaced hole on the hitch???

They also forgot to add the mount at the factory for our BBQ and the awning motor didn't work either. Again...very happy overall and hopefully these all have easy work arounds (other than the awning and BBQ mount which the dealer will fix)...but would love some feedback.

There should be a panel of wood to cover the storage doors on the bunk, they have velcro on them so they stay put, check with dealer it should have came with it.

The sewer hose storage isnt big enough for a good long heavy duty hose,I put it in a bin and store it in the pass through.
I put the spray away hose in the sewer hose storage.

Walmart sells a long rod type lock for the hitch.

I dont like the grill mounted,I put it on a foldable aluminum kitchen table the grill has a spot next to table. it has hanging hooks and a lower netting and is small when broken down(walmart)
Also manual says dont use grill with the awning out ?.

Default One more thing, Massatucky....

Have fun in your new FF. Although I don't own one, I am aware of a VERY dangerous area on your model which you may want to address especially if you have little kids or pets. When the slide is extended, carefully check out the bottom skirt. Notice the razor-sharp exposed edges and protruding self-tapping screws that are just about the height of a child reaching under or a dog running under. Cruiser RV apparently is waiting for a lawsuit to force them into addressing this flaw. Shoddy construction....
