Default Adding Satellite TV to a XT276 ~ Advise please

Have been thinking of adding satellite TV (Direct TV) to the XT 276 and requesting advise from those who have done so already.

Recommendation for a automatic satellite locating dish for the camper once parked?

Am I correct in understanding one can take the satellite receiver from the house and use it in the camper without changing anything?

I will not wire the entire camper for satellite as it only needs to feed to one TV for my use...so a single satellite coax from the dish to the TV can be run.

What about power to the automatic satellite locating dish?

Any information will be appreciated.

Take a look at the Winegard Carryout. It can run either DirectTV or Dish and it runs on 12V DC for power.

Yes, they seem to be about the best way to go after I checked into their setups.

IF one has satellite at home and a dish on the camper ... when moving the receiver from the house to the camper, does anything need to be re-set or just hook up the cable and use it?

I haven't tried this myself yet, but from the onnline manual it looks like you have to go through a setup process for the box to recognize the new satellite.

That is what I"m finding out as seems the receiver must be able to 'link' to the dish or you get nothing.
