Default Black Tank Flush

Have a 2017 FF271K Where the water hose hooks up to flush the black tank, there is a sticker stating that the pressure relief valve must be open. What is this and where is it ???

Not sure - but on my XT276, one MUST have the sewer drain open or the pressure buildup in the tank may force the ugly water out of the toilet into the camper interior.

Also, NEVER use your potable water hose for the black water flush...use a separate hose.

Yes, the drain valve must always be open when flushing. What is throwing me is the terminology about a "pressure relief valve" that must be open.

Mystery Solved. Contacted the manufacturer and verified that it is indeed the dump valve that has to be open. .....They could have just said that on the decal rather than some obtuse terminology LOL..

Yes, strange terminology for the black water dump valve. Perhaps they got someone with a PHD formulating their instructions.
LOL
