Default Black water tank emptying

We were emptying our full black water tank into a disposal point and the hose came off the connection to outlet socket that came new with our funfinder.
With the contents all over me....not good.

Has anyone done a upgrade to that flimsy hose that comes with the funfinder?

If you mean the one that comes in the kit you get when you buy the trailer, I threw that away after the first trip. Get one of those camco kits from camping world or walmart. They even come with caps that attach to the end of the hose so 'stuff' doesn't leak out.

It won't fit in the storage tube though, so you'll have to change that as well, but at least you won't get splashed again.

This one works great, easy, positive lock on hookup and NO leaks!

The cheezy one that came with the unit stays in the factory holder, unused.
