Bought New Shadow Cruiser 280QBS, protection pkg?

The dealer is trying to sell me an exterior platinum protection package. Has anyone bought this or is it a waste of money and just a cash grab. I know on new vehicles I never buy this sort of thing, was wondering if it is needed for TT or if I can do it myself. any info would be great.

Sounds like just another extended warranty package with a fancy name. No different really than the extended vehicle warranties.

I didn't buy one when I bought my trailer.
