Default Cargo Bay Key

We just bought a 2015 266 KIRB, and there are no cargo bay keys. The "751" is not the correct key. Our selling dealer failed to provide us with the key, the compartment is locked, and guess what is in there.......if you said power cable, ding, ding, ding. Any ideas? Do I need to call a FUNFINDER dealer? Oh, BTW , our selling dealer is about 3 hours away.

Sounds like the dealers problem. Call them and have them get you a key. It's their fault as it should be part of the PDI and walk through checklist. Silverado

I have a 2015 F265RBSS and mine has the "1 key system", it uses the same double cut key for the entry door and all compartment doors. Does your pass through compartment use slam latches or twist knobs?

Will answer all your questions. Not a large company. Usually have to leave message but they have always called me back. Have re-keyed three units so all or most locks matched.

My 2012 FunFinder XT276 has a key for the front entrance door, a key for the rear entrance door, a key for the rear ramp door, a key for the toy lock, a key for the outside shower door, and a key for the cargo bay door.

All locks are keyed differently with the exception of the two locks on the rear door ramp that are use the same key.

Then add a key for the hitch lock and a key for the receiver hitch lock and keys for the tow vehicle and motorcycle.

With all the keys on a key ring, one looks like a janitor at a commercial building.

Thanks for that info. I went to their site and found that the latch I have is the Nova slam latch. My selling dealer is supposed to be sending me a replacement latch. I don't have any faith in them that it's the correct one. Not sure how I will access the latch to remove it. I may have to figure a way to get to it thru the bed area.

I removed the lock on my cargo doors and replace them with simple thumb turns. I don't store my gold in there.
