Default CO alarm; a need?

I need to replace my propane alarm.

Some models now are 2-in-1. Propone/CO (carbon monoxide).

I think CO is formed when fossil fuels, like propane or natural gas, are not burned completely. I think.

Is there a need for a CO alarm in my unit if I use propane for heat, stove, and sometime fridge?

Or just propane alarm is sufficient?

YES keep your CO alarm. As you said incomplete combustion generates CO. In fact normal combustion will generate some amount of CO as well, it's just worse with improper combustion. You can get CO generated from your stove, fridge or heater if the burner is dirty or not operating properly for some reason. So a working CO alarm is an essential safety device.
