Dometic Refridgerator door heater
There was thread here a few days back (can't seem to find it now) discussing the heater on the fridge door that prevents condensation. I hadn't heard of this before so I pulled out my manual and lo & behold my fridge model #2652 is equipped with this feature. Right there in black and white on page 5 it's described as the climate control system. It states that the heater can be turned off if you don't need it. Living in Arizona I'm probably not ever going to need this thing so I wanted to be sure it was turned off.
On page 9 the manual indicates that the switch to turn it on or off is beneath the top decoration panel that houses the control panel with an arrow pointing to a point just left of center. Today I went hunting for that switch and that's not quite where it is, at least on mine. From the description it almost sounded like I was going to have to remove the panel to get at the switch but then I noticed on the very right hand edge the switch is located in a recess on the bottom side of that panel. Since my fridge has the hinges on the right hand side it was even more obscured. So unless you are really hunting for this thing like I was, you'll never see it.
Thought I'd pass this along and maybe save someone some time.
