Default Door opening in route??

Our door on our 189FDS opened several times while traveling back from our first trip this season. Confirmed it was latched and locked (deadbolt), but continued to open. Door is in alignment and latch seems to be good. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Check the striker plate, the place where the deadbolt should engage. It can shift its position slightly. Tighten the screws holding it in place. Hope this helps!

Are both the latch and deadbolt still locked after the door popped open? If so, I'd be inclined to think something is flexing an inordinate amount. Sounds goofy, but check that both the door and the door opening feel good and solid. Is there tension when closed because the door is slightly bowed, or because of too much weather stripping? Good luck. After 35+ years of camping, it still amazes me to discover where RV manufacturers cut corners and shave ounces at the expense of dependability and durability.

Thx all. Made adjustment to door and Stryker plate and hopefully this will resolve on our next trip early June
