Default External Spray Port Problem

I have a 2014, 210 UDS. It has an external spray port using a female
quick-disconnect fitting. The 210 also came with coiled hose and spray nozzle with a male fitting.

The problem is: the water pressure is too high plug in the hose when I want to use it. I could plug it in before connecting to city water when I have no pressure, but I do not trust the coiled hose not to burst when I'm not around. I would like to use it to spray the sewer hose after dumping and plug in in at that time. I now use a "Y" fitting with cut-offs and a seperate hose to flush the sewer hose.

Does anyone have a fix?

I essentailly do the same thing - use a Y connector on the inlet hose at the water filter so I can shut off the water and reduce the pressure so I can connect the coiled hose. That seems to work okay.

This past weekend I added an inline water pressure regulator to guard against high pressure, and that, too, helped with being able to plug in the coiled hose.

The coiled hose will not bust, I had the problem, Your Spray unit may have some debris in the quick connect and may need some lube.

I worked with mine for some time until I just replaced it. No problems now.

Good Luck

Water should be banned as it is responsible for 100% of deaths by drowning.
