Default Extra Positive Battery Lead?

Hey, all. Just wondering if anyone can tell me what this extra battery lead is for.
I changed my battery last week and when I removed the old one from the battery box, I found that there was a red cable with an inline fuse holder coming out of the same conduit as the negative cable. This red cable was tucked under the battery, along with the previous owners wooden weed pipe...LOL

This cable has obviously not been hooked up for some time if at all, does anyone know what the purpose of this cable could be? Or can anyone tell me where I can access wiring schematics for older models of Fun Finder (2005 T240)

Hmmm, this fuse holder appears to be for a High Current (as in 30 Amps or greater) Large Blade Style Maxi Fuse and definitely looks after factory to me. Did you purchase the FF used? Can you chase down where the other end of the fuse connects? It could be used for any large load or perhaps in series with portable solar panels.

Ahh... I believe the guy I bought it from did use a large solar panel setup, as he was always back country camping on crown land. I will chase it inside the trailer and see where it goes.

Thanks for the advice
