Default FF x160 changes and mods for full time living

I live full time in my little fun finder and believe it or not , it is just right for me and my pup. Very easy to maintain and keep clean with just enough room so I don't collect a bunch of stuff i don't need.

Fortunately i have a couple small storage sheds to keep my extras in generator, chainsaw, camping gear and now summer clothes. I live in a small private marina right on the Fraser river in B.C. with cheap rent as I don't have perm, water hookup and have to use a outhouse...but I have 30 amp power and this trailer is warm !!!

I'm going to post some pics of changes I made that works for me and might for you.

Dining table cut in half which gives me plenty of room for meals, my computer sits permanately on it

top bunk above the table is used for my cooking utensils, dishes and some food and is behind a curtain when not in use (can't see the stuff up there)

recovered my cushions (had they upgraded) with auto uphostery all around so they can be washed when necessary, because of the pup (she's 10 years old)

top bunk in the back is used for clothes in pull out bins, appliances and a small in height storage tote for movies, electronics and 'stuff' used regulary.

and of course as I'm sure most of us have, added shelves in most cupboards.

anyways check out the pics, you might like the couple of changes

Well done! Here is another idea you might be able to use -- I see in your photos that you have that big clock that was part of the original equipment -- I had the same thing on our trailer. I took the clock out, and there was a lot of storage space available behind it!

Making the mods that "make it our own" has been a lot of the fun for me. Billy, it's obvious that you too have had fun with it, and have worked out the space that works best for you and your dog. Well done.

Billy, I just used a screwdriver to pry off the cabinet facing -- after all, I was going to open it up anyway, so no need to do it carefully. After opening up that area, I then built a small shelf for the radio.

You seem to have a lot of room there and nice use of the space. What I like about that floor plan is that the whole dinette is/was usable. Ours is/was over the wheel well and made it hard for anyone to sit over that part.

the table being cut in half works well...still lots of room even with the 23" all in one computer...when i have friends over i use tv tables...also the section in front of the table is 28' and i have a pice of plywood and cushion that fits there...so still can sleep two easily...i store tyhe piece of plywood under the seat cushion and the printer sits on the insert extra cushion
it has worked well and this is a good trailer...love it !!!
the power awning is an issue (won't work) but i really don't know how to fix it...and don't seem to find much other than what is in the manual...oh well ...
