Default Floor in storage area rotting.

My storage area floor is rotting. I figure water came in from the storage entry hatch. Will buy some 3/4 inch plywood and do a patch. However before I add the wood, I will
Coat it with marine urethane.

Or maybe just use marine plywood that is already treated?
Just a thought, however I've never used any.

I was planning on using marine grade but could not find it. Oh well.

Finished up the floor repair. Wish I would have kept the linoleum flooring. Oh well, maybe I find some that matches one of these days. BTW, I think water got in from the water heater. I re-sealed the area and hopefully solved the problem.

Exclamation

Looks like a good job!
You got me wondering about our water heater now. I had never considered water entering around the service area but that area does get wet when it rains or during heater draining and servicing. MMMMM
