Is this on a newer FF with the dark brown cap? Ours will be a year old in September and is fading at the top. I messaged support from the Cruiser website and they very quickly responded. Mine is going in to be repainted (base coat with clear coat this time) this week. I'm guessing by the fast response and quick offer to cover the paint job that this is a fairly common issue.

We have the same problem with our 2014 F-214WSD. The top of the cap gets really hot in the sun (we have problems with heat in the overhead cupboard, a previous poster found no insulation in the top 2ft of the cap). I'll be onto the Cruiser support people tomorrow morning!

Our trailer is white, but the decals are fading. I have just decided to put up with it -- I have been out in the sun all my life, and despite lots of sunscreen, I don't look so great anymore, either.

dhyravy-Are you still under warranty? We have a 2014 266KIRB and the top front is totally washed out from a tan to a white. It looks absolutely horrible. I can't imagine FF would admit to a problem with the paint. It definitely is not a good advertisement for their product when someone sees a 1 1/2 year old trailer with the paint looking like that.

Has anyone received any response from Fun Finder?

I'd be surprised if the original brown from the factory is paint. It's probably pigment in the gel coat. Sanding it, and doing an automotive style basecoat/clear coat would be the best solution, as one of the earlier posters is doing.
As simple as the nose is on one of these trailers, it would be an easy job.

I purchased some 303 Aerospace Protectant to do the roof and sides of my XT-276 to protect it from the UV rays and preserve the rubber roof, the color and decals from fading.

I haven't used it on the camper yet ~ but have used it on the tonneau cover and black plastic parts on the pickup to retain that "new showroom" appearance.

I too have the same problem with my 2013 FF 210-UDS. Who did you contact at FF?

I just took our 2014 214WSD to the dealer to have the front cap painted at Cruiser RV's expense. I spoke to Gentry at the Customer Service and he said they had a problem with a sub-contractor and they offered to pay up to $1500 for painting.
