Default Has anyone removed an interior sidewall?

I think we have a water issue next to the sink. I splash water out every time I wash dishes. Now, I keep a towel just for wiping around the sink, but when we first got the trailer, I didn't notice I was doing it. I've been noticing that the wallpaper is peeling a little next to the counter, and I think the wall is a little warped. I'd like to take the wall board off, take a look at what is behind it, fix it (easily I hope) and then put it back on. But I don't know how to get it off without tearing something. I've looked at tons of youtube videos, and none show how to get the board off, just the wallpaper.

Don't peel off the wall. Chances are good that it is lauan plywood (very thin) bonded to styrofoam. OK to peel off the wallpaper and put something else up.

I added a sheet of clear thin acrylic as a backsplash behind my stove and sink. I also caulked around the bottom of the acrylic with silicone. The whole thing wipes clean.

And yes, we wipe it down a lot -- I don't let water stand on the countertop.

I wipe ours down, too since it is very tight around the sink. At some point, I'd like to put back splash on the wall (at least in the sink area).

You might want to do a roof inspection for rips or tears. Depending on how it sits, outside water will flow to lowest area like AC drain from roof top unit.

I would never recommend trying to remove a wall in an RV. They are not built like houses. The interior walls are often intrigal to the stability of the trailer. The cabinets are even screwed in from the outside. And once you peeled the wallpaper off you would have a hard time matching it. Can you see damage under the sink from water? Is it just a bit of curled wallpaper? You can reglue it. Then do as others have said and install plexiglass or some type of backsplash material around the sink and counter area and caulk. I've used thesmarttiles.com on both of our RVs.
