Default How to turn off Thermostat?

We have an X160 with a thermostat that can be turn down to 60 degrees and no switch to turn it off. At night, we want to turn the heater off. The only way I can figure to do it is turn off the LP which is a pain.

If you push the thermostat lever all the way to the left till it clicks, it should turn the heater off. If not, you need a new thermostat. They are easy to install -- I did it myself, and I am not good with electrical stuff.

I have an X160 too, and sometimes the thermostat won't turn on or off. I found that if I snap off the cover and reattach it, it works just fine. Must be a short.

Thank for information. It took a hard push (harder than I generally would do on a plastic part) on the lever to get it to the OFF position.

This is the thermostat in my unit from the factory.

The "ON/OFF MODE" is clearly indicated and a push will change it from off to on or visa versa.

Ours is s very basic no frills thermostat that doesn't even say 'off'. You just push the slider hard to the left.
