Just an FYI for those dealing with refrigerator issues. I have a Dometic refrigerator/freezer. Ever year if forget and have to relearn how to start it. When it's plugged in lto the AC shore power and I push the on button it always tries to light the LP burner. If I forget to turn on the gas, it always goes to check mode. Not sure why it needs gas pressure to run on AC, but it does. Anyway, once the LP flame has been burning for about 5 minutes, it shuts off the gas and runs on AC. Wired, I know.

As it turns out, it appears my refrigerator is malfunctioning and not able to run on AC. I suspect the heating element
Unfortunately I going on a short camping trip so I will be running it off LP for the time being.

We run our fridge for many days at a time on LP only (boondocking). You'll be fine, I'm sure!!

There is also a fuse located inside the power module if you haven't checked that already.

Yep, checked the fuse. I have to investigate more after our camping trip. I suspect the heating element is fried.

Check the resistance on the element when you get home.
