Default LED $ saving tip

LEDs can be expensive, especially if you want to convert your entire trailer and especially if you buy the "form-fitting" correct LED light for each light fixture. If you're adventurous, careful, and patient you can save lots of money.
Check this link out:
US Seller: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Warm-White-G...item4d0bf6a73b

China http://www.ebay.com/itm/20pcs-G4-Bas...item51abbc7d62

So here's the tip: You take the LED wafer, take the prong and with a set of small needle-nose pliers, carefully bend the the prong back towards itself in a "U" or "J" shape. With the first one you can experiment with the width but once mastered all should be the same dimension.
The modified ends will fit/slide into the conventional bulb's plug and stay there securely.
For about $2.70 per LED (US seller-probably same Chinese LEDs) or $1 per LED (China) you can swap out your energy using conventional bulbs.
Yes-I broke a couple of LED posts. Rarely (but it does happen) one LED might go dark after towing. I simply remove and reinsert to make the connection again.
All-in-all it was/is worth the savings $$.
Up to you to decide the lumens and "color" of the LEDs you want. Lots of discussion on this.

Great find. I've already converted with more expensive bulbs but I may buy some of these to play around with.
