Very cool! Been thinking about doing the same thing to the awning and like the steps as well. I think there should be more light on those steps!

Any more pics on the actual installation? Wondering how you routed the wiring and tied it into the electrical system. Does it operate off of a remote control?

Father in law just did the same to his 5th wheel. I have a set gonna put on mine this weekend. I'm gonna do mine underneath the frame so it shines down on the ground.

I haven't looked at these too seriously, I assume they run off of 12V?

mine run on both, 12V or 110V, going to hard wire in as 12V once my
electrician has time to do it

I've thought about adding those leds. Your look very cool.

Did you buy them local or order off the net and if so, where please?

Almost all the ones i've seen on ebay are 5 meters in length, which is what i bought. It is the perfect length under the canopy.

I installed a strip to light the entry steps today. Wired directly to the battery with a waterproof push button switch on the hitch.

I thought about adding a strip under the awning ..... but unsure how to run the wires from the end of the light strip down to the wiring underneath the camper.

Suggestions please ?????

Default run the wires for power

How did everyone run the power to these lights. I just ordered the light strip from amazon. Can't wait. Any pictures on wording too would be awesome.

The leds I put to light the steps are exactly like those in the initial posters picture. They are self stick and just ran a hot and ground wire (automotive wire) from them underneath the camper to the battery with a push button switch mounted on the hitch.

I've no idea where to run the wires to lights on or under the awning so they are not exposed on the side of the unit.

Anyone????????
