First update: materials came in, installer went to move trailer inside and battery was dead. Day 2 he discovered my new Optima Bluetop was stolen off the trailer in his lot. He's talking about replacing it for me.

Bummer, but at least it sounds like he's going to make it good by you!

Default Update

So Nick at Line-X is a class act, he's replacing my Optima Bluetop that was stolen from his lot. The thieves scoped it out pretty good, because I made sure you would need tools to remove the battery.
I talked with Apha about this Alpha ply roof with a 12 year guarantee. They instantly blamed Cruiser RV for not using enough adhesive, Cruiser blames Alpha for bad glue.
Alpha did say if enough glue was used, the membrane would rip or pull up the substrate if I tried to remove it. As you can see in the pictures this wasnt the case. In fact the adhesive quality on the decking was about as strong as a post-it note in the front, and only slightly better by the rear.
Over-all the decking was in great shape, only a slight bit of discoloring was present in the rear corners for about 6 inches. Please remember this is a 4yr old TT with a 12yr guarantee! Moral of the story: inspect your topside and do it often. Hopefully the bedliner will be a permanent fix but only time will tell.

Default And.. its done.

I probably could have done better matching the color, but that wasn't the point of this project. This stuff is thick, strong and ready for the long haul. I drove it home in a severe thunderstorm and couldn't find a drop inside. My only gripe, and its minor, is the drip rails werent sealed so my A/C condensation is already running down the side just forward of the slide. I may reinstall them this weekend.
Line-X dealer reimbursed the cost of the stolen battery. After a little welding project, I dont foresee that being a problem in the future. Im taking it to Vegas in November. That should really test its flexibility. Overall Im happy with the quality and price. Im also confident it will far outlast other options that would have cost the same without protecting the front cap.

Just so I'm clear, you put the bed liner directly on the wood? Why not put it on top of the existing roof?

Looks good!! The color looks fine to me. Wow, must be nice to now have that peace of mind!

If it's okay, what was your cost?

Existing roof was not adhered to the wood.

I was given a military discount and some negotiating after my battery was stolen on his lot. $3000 out the door taxes included

Update! Just returned from a 500mile trip in torrential downpour while traveling across the interstate.
Once I opted for the highways I was greeted by plenty of low hanging limbs. After 72hrs of rain, and plenty of small twigs scraping, theres not a drop inside nor scratch outside.
I'll continue to review this as time passes. At the moment Im very satisfied with quality, value, and durability of the Line-X material. I imagine Rhino-Liner and RV-Armor would perform identically.
