Default Mod : Bathroom door gone, replacing with curtain

2011 Shadow Cruiser 185 FBS

Getting rid of the bathroom door : Our trailer is small and space is at a premium. Especially the area in front of the bathroom. When you sit on the toilet, your knees are right up against the bathroom door. This door has been in the way and not practical for 2 Adults and a small dog camping.

We went to work and took the door and the 2 small sidewalls also off. I was surprised how heavy that small door is. It was interesting to see what is behind the walls and how it was constructed. Whole mod will cost us $60 total = $40 for the 2 ready made curtains and $20 for the curtain rod that we will install on the ceiling on the outside of the bathroom.

Everything is prepped and will be done soon. With the door off, there is so much more room now.

I will update with pics once we are done.

The door and the side walls are off. Bathroom entry way is now nice and wide and spacious.

Nice work!

That really opened it up.

My wife and I have been considering something similar to this in our 2012 189FBS.
