Actually, we could use some rain as it's very dry here. Please, send up about 3 inches of slow, gentle rain.

Well, from my experience, the Black Hills often has showers that pass thru but normally are just passing showers. Good weather is always welcome when on holiday.

However, I don't think I'd use an aluminum bar but rather a tough piece of ABS plastic.

I've used the silicone spray and it helps.

Just my thoughts....and to each their own.
Hi Eagle,
Long time since we talked...
I just added a 11" extension to get my cap out closer to just inside the outer trailer wall; I got tired of laying down to remove the cap or install/remove the hose... (Added a bit of ABS cement to the inner connection so it doesn't come off unintentionally)... So far it works great...

I'm not sure if it is safe to get on this thread...
You can pick up a small tube/small canister of silicone O-Ring lube at most hardware or plumbing stores; and because this thread started out discussing sewer drain lines, I'm not too worried about food-grade...

Hi John C ~ moving the discharge point is a neat idea. Also any silicone lube will work it's just that I had 'food grade' on hand....and what goes out of the sewer line is 'extremely processed food' in a way. LOL

Oh, sorry it's been so bad in the middle of the country. We've been very lucky up here. Nice weather with just enough rain.
