Default owner's manual

What are the chances of finding an owner's manual for 2006 models?

Limited at best.
Get make/model of range/microwave/water heater/furnace, etc. and look on the internet for owners manuals is your best bet as the factory 'owners manual' is comprised of manuals for each 'component' in the unit.

We had a manual for our 2012 X-139 -- useless! It was just a collection of the subsystems' manufacturers' manuals -- the furnace, the fridge, and so forth. The actual Cruiser RV manual for the trailer was just a lot of vague advice on how to load the trailer, etc.

I think this is fairly typical in the industry -- it's not like a car manual.

Thank you! Now I don't feel as badly that there is not one with the camper. We were interested in the build of the trailer. It is fiberglass and I'm sure wood. Don't know what roofing material is used. Going to see it today but thought it would be good to have some info. ahead of time. Appreciate the help so much and know if we complete the purchase, we will be using this site a lot!

jmburg, it might not be wood underneath. If it is a Fun Finder X with a fiberglass skin, it might be an aluminum frame (which is a good thing).

The roof material will either be TPO or EPDM.

This explains the difference and BE SURE to watch the video at the end of the article.

Well, we have just returned from a 10 hour (5 going, 5 coming home) trip without a camper. The 2006 was not in the condition described by the owner and pictures were not an accurate representation. The exterior was separating and obvious signs of leakage inside. We were so disappointed. The 189 fbr is exactly what we want.
Thank you for your responses and assistance. This is a wonderful resource.

Very sorry to hear that. Hang in there -- let's hope the right one will come along!
