Default Painted My Cabinets!

When shopping for our camper we saw one or two with white interiors which we really liked. It made the smaller sized campers feel brighter and bigger inside. So when we bought our 189FBS two weeks ago, I decided that I needed to change the cabinets to white. It took some serious work with lots of sanding, prepping and 3 coats of cabinet paint, but it is all done. I figured that I would share some pics for those who might consider a lighter colored interior. I found the paint on a camper blog where the owner painted their Winnebego cabinets. After a year, the paint was still doing well so based on their positive experience, that's the paint I used. I tried to combined photos for a "Before and After" comparison.

I like the color of your original cabinets but I understand the need for light too. Our current trailer has the same color cabinets and the whole trailer seems dark even with the lights on. Did it make a difference?

I dislike painted inside woodwork like doors, trim, cabinets, etc. I much prefer the warm glow of natural wood with natural grain.

But, everyone has different tastes so whatever works.

A big difference. Feels much brighter, especially at night.
