Default Pop out leaking on 2010 Fun Finder

I have a 2010 21' pull behind: 'x215WSK'

Every time it rains, the pop out leaks and i'm pretty sure its due to the pop out 'rails' being on the side of the pop out.

On other travel trailers, I see these rails are underneath the pop out.

If it's not perfectly level, or leaning a little bit, water runs along these rails and into the trailer.

Anybody else experience this?

I believe you have a Schwintek slide mechanism. I have not experienced that when I did own one, but I can see how it could happen. Try Googling "schwintek slide leaking" and you should find a solution, there is a lot of information there. Good luck.

Yup, its a Schwintek slider. I did a little more research and learned how the system worked. There's nothing I can really do except lifting the opposite side so the water doesn't run along the rail into the RV. I used painters tape last time it rained, and this preventing water from running down the rails, so i'll use this moving forward.

My toy hauler has the Schwintek slider mechanism and have never had a leak issue as you mentioned and have been i some pretty severe downpours.

Although I've never paid and particular attention, I like to have the left (slide out side) side of the camper slightly lower than the right (entrance door side) side so any A/C condensation will run off on the side opposite the entrance door.

I have the same year TT but the slides are beneath the slide out. But the seal on the bottom is poor so I put on an awning. But tilting the trailer as you mentioned seems imperative.
