Default Power stabilizer problem

Hi all,
Ran into a power problem ( I think) with my power stabilizer jacks. They worked when I setup camp in mid July. Went to bring my trailer home this weekend and the switches ( both) would not work when I went to retract them. I haven't tried to troubleshoot yet was looking for suggestions or if anyone else has had this problem. It's like I'm not getting power. I generally looked at my fuse panel to see if a red light was on but havent pulled any to physically eye each one. I manually retracted them to get it home.

Exactly the reason I did NOT take that option on my purchase. Read many posts on line about issues with the power stabilizers having issues and figured they were not worth the investment.
Good luck in resolving your problem. Someone should be along soon that also has the power stabilizers and familiar with their issues.

There have been posts of users who have removed and replaced the motors in the power stabilizers.

I would first make sure that there is actually voltage making it to the motor as wiring is always a likely point of failure. It is a DC motor so I believe they just reverse the current flow to change the direction of the motor.

I have seen the motors available online.

Thanks everyone. I found the problem. The switches were originally located in the pass through storage on the wall. This was a pain having to reach in bent over to push the button and hold till they reached the ground so I relocated the switches and extended the wires 4yrs ago. After visually inspecting the fuses I went l got my voltmeter and started following the power from floor up to switches. Found a broken power wire. Work fine again. I was sure it wasn't the motors. We only put the stabilizers down and up 5-6 times a year.

I was pretty sure it wasn't the motors even after hearing others stories. We only put the stabilizers down and up 5-6 times a year and the motors sound strong like when we bought the trailer brand new.

Congrats on finding the problem and the easy fix. Some haven't been as fortunate.
