Default Pump Cycles for Hot Water

We own a X139, but this question is probably a general one. When connected to city water, the water heater puts out a continuous stream of nice, hot water. When using the water tank and pump, the pump runs smoothly and consistently for the cold water. When running the hot water, the pump cycles on and off every few seconds, not continuously like the cold water. I’ve bled the hot water tank with the city pressure and all the water lines. Why doesn’t the pump run smoothly with hot water? Anyone else have the same thing happen? Thanks!

Default Anybody else have this issue?

I'm having the same issue as Tim the Toolman. I don't think the problem was as bad last year. I can't find a water leak anywhere, but maybe it's an air leak? Anybody else have had this problem and fix it?

Thanks!
