Default ramp screen

Well I've searched the site looking for old threads on any ramp screen problems. The other day I pulled ours down and now it will only retract about 3/4 of the way up. Anyone have any suggestions?

I only recall pulling the ramp screen down one time shortly after purchasing my toy hauler just to see it. Actually, I've never used it.

The ramp door is opened to load/unload the Harley, and then closed so no reason to ever use the screen.

For us we unload the Harley and my Honda Interceptor, lower the bed, and pull the screen so we have a back patio and can sleep with a breeze.

I use my FF more as a live-aboard than as a toy hauler so I've found the screen to be one of its best features (my desk is in the left rear corner, so I'm looking out that "picture window view" as I type this).

Assuming yours is the same roll up unit as mine, I've had that same issue. I think it happens because the screen gets ahead of the sprung roller. Pulling it down a few inches and coaxing it up a little farther, then repeating until it is rolled up seems to work. My other observation is that the left and right edges of my screen aren't well contained in their tracks but that doesn't seem to affect its performance much.

I noticed the edges don't stay in the tracks and was thinking that might be the problem. Oh well, it's at least up far enough not to interfere with bike loading.
