Default Refrigerator failure to get cold

I recently purchased a 2006 160. I have the unit plugged into an extension cord to the house... all items work individually (lights, microwave, AC, etc.). However the frig does not work... It is parked in my driveway and is not level (front to back). Will this cause the frig to not run off the AC....?

Is it not working at all - as in the interior light won't come on? Or just not cooling? If it's not level it can cause poor cooling performance.

Try leveling it and see if that does does the trick.

Hi, hope you've fixed it by now. If the light doesn't turn on then you don't have power--most likely. Check the 12v fuse for it--yes it requires 12v regardless if it is set to work on AC or just LP.

If you have a light, are you testing it on AC or LP? If LP make sure your LP is on--double check you cooktop lights and your furnace works--just to make sure you've got gas in the pipe and not air.

let us know how your doing with it,

hth, ron

I've put bug screens on the vent door since like all LP, if the spiders get into it, you'll have problems.

What I had read was to get the electric hooked up a good day or more ahead of leaving on a trip. Also when I switch over to LP, I always make sure there is sufficient LP in the lines first by lighting the stove since its right next to the fridge. I always stick a frozen gallon of water in the freezer to get it a head start. After fridge has been running for a few hours I can tell its working if I listen closely by the vent on the outside.

Default Factory help with fridge

I called Shadow Cruiser and they were very helpful.... the issue with the Fridge was leveling.... I have my trailer parked in my driveway which is pretty steep.... Once I got it close to level the Frige worked just fine....Once this fridge gives up the ghost I'll probably replace it with a regular compressor type....

Your fridge is not cooling and I guess you have to check the control panel of it. You have to check the Freon also. If your fridge has no Freon, then that is the main problem.
