I picked up a nice SS Double Boiler (at a Thrift Store) that works great for steaming, boiling, poaching, and, and... ... I want to pick up a small - med crockpot; they are so handy if on shore power and, as you probably know, we travelers frequently need to make a potluck dish for a camp gathering, but I don't need or want to carry a large CP...

Otherwise, we are pretty well fixed there... I do need to put up bathroom and bedroom hooks, and bedroom shoe caddy... I'll see if I can get any of this done before AZ...

I have had numerous crock pots and rarely have used them. I know I sold one for next to nothing when we moved. I think we have s huge one in the basement, but I know most people use them s lot. One handy thing we did was put a wooden 4 coat hook rack on the back of our dinette near the floor. We hang our shoes on it when we come in. Works great!! We also have one over the bathroom door. We used pads on it so it wouldn't mar the door (of course). We hang leashes, jackets, etc. on it.

Yep - off topic - sorry to anyone that is deeply upset.

Loving the F350. In beast mode it does not know that it's loaded down with a truck camper and towing a travel trailer with 2 full propane tanks and 4-RV batteries adding to the tongue weight. Love the weight distribution capabilities of the Equal-i-zer hitch!

We loved our 1989 F-350 diesel crew cab dually too. The EPA has definitely driven some changes since then. Some seem to have made engines very costly to maintain and keep running right, like Long Long Honeymoon' truck.
They chose a very costly fix but thought it was better than buying a new truck since theirs was paid for.

None taken here... Goodness, you are packing a load!!! I would think that carrying a camper, pulling a trailer, and all loaded for your excursion, in an emergency, that 350 holds you in command quite well...

My Silverado is a 1500 with MAX Trailer pkg allowing almost 11,000 lbs trailer weight; We were heading to the North Shore on a 2-way paved highway and some idiot crossed the white line right in front of me , I swerved as much as I could due to the steep right shoulder and heard the trailer tires squealing, and was so glad the TV was heavy enough to ensure my command of the situation... If I had been driving a lighter vehicle, I may have a much different story to tell...
