Default Replacing ceiling/water damage

Bought my toy hauler 3 weeks ago. Previous owner had a water leak that damaged the inside ceiling material. How hard is it to replace, and how is it attached. The leak was repaired by rv dealer prior to buying camper.

I need help with that too.

Just took it to the dealer to have leak fixed. They wanted $400 plus caulk to seal leaks. He also said my Funfinder was only worth $500 due to water damage. We just paid $3000

Guess I'm going to have to fix it myself

Hint: Dealers have been know to lie when selling or buying

That's the price the dealer would buy it for, then he'd turn around and sell it for at least $3000, maybe more.

Your trailer may have wood roof trusses and side framing, so the damage could be more than cosmetic. Probably should go up on the roof and see if any of the decking feels soft. Also look for cracks and tears in the roof membrane and joints.
