replacing or modifying the window valance?

Hi all ,
Did a search , but nothing came up.
I would like to replace (or modify?) the valance over the dinette in my front bunk model - the current one has the "legs" which take up too much space and are in the way - and I would like to replace it with one like over the "bedroom" windows (just covers the top of the blinds). Is there a store that sells these ? used will be ok if in good shape. Not sure why those legs are there in the first place?

thanks. have figured out how to get them off. Maybe will just switch the dinette valance with the foot of the bed - don't think it will be as much in the way and it should give us more elbow room in the dinette/couch.

The front side valances in my 189FDS are actually part of the support for the folding front bunk. Mine doesn’t have ‘legs’ but if it has legs maybe it’s part of the support also. I recommend taking a second look before changing it.
