Roof Sealing

I have a used 2009 FF 16. The roof has been patched in several places with what appears to be Eternabond tape. there is caulking in the front corner which was applied to seal a leak by a PO. The roof is arched and appears to be solid. AC and all the usual vents through the roof. As far as I can tell, the roof is TPO. After reading all the posts on roof sealing, I am thoroughly confused.
My question is; Is there a sealer that I can paint over the entire roof as it sits that will provide adequate water protection for several years with proper maintenance? The trailer is in the LA area and parked at home in the sun.
If not, What are my options?

My 2010 FF has the Alpha-ply roof. After doing some research on it, I am of the opinion that it does not need a sealer unless you want to maintain the look of it cosmetically. I would focus on the sealing around your protrusions. You need to use Dicor for any sealing that you do on the roof. Inspect your existing Dicor for dryness, cracks, holes, etc. and touch those up each year. Other than that, you can clean the surface of the roof with water, spic n span, and a medium bristle brush or broom.

Do a search on Amazon and you will find many. Then, take the brands and do a search on rv.net/forums. Many people use them and have great results.

I do a sealer check every six months. What I have found is that it's not the roof so much as it is running lights and seams in general that need sealing.

Dicor is my best friend and there are some other brands that work as well. Leaks are our enemy and we need to be constantly alert!
