Default Screen for Exit Window

We have purchased a 2006 189FBD. The screen for the exit window has a 1/2 inch gap all around. Do we have the wrong screen or is something missing?

We have a 2006 FF X-139, the smallest.

The exit screen used to seem okay, unless we never noticed, but on this last trip we DID notice ours has a gap too. We couldn't maneuver the screen to fill the gap. We were afraid we'd get eaten by mosquitos.

Any ideas, anyone?
