Default SeeLevel Guages - 189FBS

I finally pulled the trigger on the SeeLevel II system:

After I couple of years with the Full, 2/3, 1/3, Empty gauges I was done. It was well worth the $210 investment. I picked the unit up here:

The install was pretty easy and straight forward. I just reused all the existing wires and I was good to go. Be sure to follow the directions on placement from the bottom and top. If you are too close to the bottom you will always get a small reading (between 5%-10%) on your tanks. I also used Gorilla tape on the edges of the sender units just in case. After I was done, I sprayed the senders on the grey and black tank with 3M rubberized undercoating per their specifications.

On the control panel, I used a surface mount, shallow, double gang Panduit box (you get it at your big box hardware) and a screwless switch plate cover. I cut the hole in the cover to fit the panel and put it all together.

All-in-all I only had 1 -2 hours of work into it.

Nice mod! Will definitely consider if I cannot get the builtin to operate satisfactorily.
